II. Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right to:

  • Obtain confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, access the processed data, receive further information about data processing, and obtain copies of the data (cf. Art. 15 GDPR);

  • Request the correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (cf. Art. 16 GDPR);

  • Request the immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, insofar as further processing is necessary under Art. 17(3) GDPR, request the restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR;

  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe that their data has been processed unlawfully (cf. Art. 77 GDPR).

Moreover, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed about any correction, deletion, or restriction of processing pursuant to Articles 16, 17(1), and 18 GDPR, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Regardless, users have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Furthermore, under Art. 21 GDPR, users have the right to object to the future processing of their data if the data is processed based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). In particular, users may object to data processing for direct marketing purposes.


III. Information on data processing

The data processed during the use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, provided that no legal retention obligations prevent deletion and no other provisions specify otherwise for individual processing operations.
